As part of our Accountability Agreement with the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, the Central East LHIN Board of Directors is required to report annually to the Ministry. In this section, you will find the annual reports for the Central East LHIN.

Annual Reports

"Leading Transformation"

This year’s Annual Report is titled “Leading Transformation” and is reflective of the transformative journey the Central East LHIN continued to lead in 2014/15 as it worked with its stakeholders - patients and caregivers, health care providers and other local organizations, community leaders, local residents and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care - to create an integrated sustainable health care system that ensures better health, better care and better value for money.

"Community First"

This year’s Annual Report – “Community First” – takes its title from the Central East LHIN’s 2013-2016 Integrated Health Service Plan (IHSP). The Central East LHIN’s third IHSP once again sets out a shared goal for the local health care system and outlines the LHIN’s overall theme of “Community First – Help Central East LHIN residents spend more time in their homes and their communities”.  The Board of Directors is pleased to share its ninth annual report with its communities.

"A Year in Review"  

The Board of Directors of the Central East LHIN has released its eighth annual report.  This year’s Annual Report – “A Year in Review” – takes its title from a report presented to the Central East LHIN Board at the end of 2012/13 in which a month by month snapshot of initiatives and programs highlighted the progress made by the system in providing an integrated sustainable healthcare system to the residents of the Central East region that ensures better health, better care, better value for money.

“Reaching the Quality Summit”

The Board of Directors of the Central East LHIN proudly present its seventh annual report - "Reaching the Quality Summit."  The report takes its title from the LHIN’s May 2011 Symposium.  Being a critical part of the evolution of health care in Ontario, LHINs are continuing to work with their communities to develop a quality system that is patient-focused, results-driven, integrated and sustainable. This year’s annual report once again demonstrates how LHINs are facilitating effective and efficient integration of health care services, thus making it easier for people to get the best care in the most appropriate setting, when they need it. The Central East LHIN has continued to realize this mandate through community engagement, local health system planning, funding and allocation, and accountability and performance management. 

"Save a Million Hours! Save Ten Thousand Days!"  

The Board of Directors of the Central East LHIN proudly presents its sixth annual report - "Save a Million Hours! Save Ten Thousand Days!"  The report takes its title from the LHIN's May 2010 Symposium and are system goals and strategic aims that guided the collective activities of the system documented in this annual report. 

"Making A Difference."

The Board of Directors of the Central East LHIN proudly presents its fifth annual report - "Making A Difference."  In 2009/10 the Central East LHIN began moving the health care system from discussions around planning to the implementation and achievement of measurable projects aligned with the LHIN’s accountability agreement with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Through collaboration, innovation and integration, a strategy was developed and activated that began co-ordinating the system to achieve common goals that would lead to optimal outcomes for patients, providers and the system.

"Authenticity, Abundance and Alignment."  

The Board of Directors of the Central East LHIN proudly presents its fourth annual report - "Authenticity, Abundance and Alignment."  The report takes its title from the LHIN’s June 2008 Symposium and serves as a testament to the dedication of health care service providers, community leaders, patients, clients, consumers and their families who have stepped forward to begin transforming the health care system.

"From Planning to Action."   

The Board of Directors of the Central East LHIN proudly presents its third annual report - "From Planning to Action."   This report helps to remind all of us that the LHIN is fundamentally a network of funded health service providers and interested stakeholders working in unison towards meeting our citizens' expectations about their public health system. 

"Engaged Communities.  Healthy Communities."

The Board of Directors of the Central East LHIN proudly presents its second annual report - "Engaged Communities.  Healthy Communities."   The Report provides an overview of our concentrated efforts to create a new environment of engaged leadership, innovation and cooperation in the delivery of health services including challenges and accomplishments achieved in 2006-07.

"Your LHIN, Your Health Care. Be Part of the Future." 

The Board of Directors of the Central East LHIN proudly presents its first annual report - "Your LHIN, Your Health Care. Be Part of the Future." This report represents both a milestone for Ontario's LHINs and a marker for future activities as we collectively move toward achieving Integrated Health Systems.
