Maternal, Neonatal and Paediatric Advisory Committee

Purpose

The Central East LHIN Maternal, Neonatal and Paediatric’s Advisory Committee functions in an advisory capacity, providing leadership to all relevant health service providers, partners, key stakeholders, including the Provincial Council Maternal Newborn Health (PCMCH) and the Central East LHIN, to support the adoption of evidence based practice with the goal of improving the health of mothers, and children up to the age of 18.

The Advisory Committee also acts in a leadership and stewardship capacity for Maternal, Neonatal and Paediatric Services across the Central East LHIN. The focus is providing excellent care for these patients and their families by collaboratively providing visioning, strategic planning, and building infrastructure and system capacity; thereby enhancing sustainability, quality improvement and performance measurement across the system.
