Sharing Specialists: Dr. Thomas Enright joins regional radiology team
Ross Memorial Hospital is proud to highlight a regional radiology team which supports care with partners Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC), Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH), and both locations of the Haliburton Highlands Health Services (HHHS).
This team of 15 radiologists provide care and specialist consultation at RMH, PRHC, CMH and HHHS, improving access to diagnostic imaging in each community.

“RMH is very proud of this regional partnership where our patients can receive high quality specialist services in our own community,” said Dr. Bert Lauwers, VP Medical. “Radiologists are imperative to the diagnostic process, and partnerships such as this one are key to providing exceptional patient care.”
Based out of Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Dr. Thomas Enright, the newest radiologist joined the team in July from Queen’s University where he received his medical education and specialization.
A radiologist reads and interprets images from diagnostic procedures such as CTs (computerized tomography), MRIs (Magnetic Resource Imaging), ultrasounds, x-rays, breast imaging and nuclear medicine. Radiology is growing even more important in our modern healthcare system to a point where in many cases treatment cannot begin until these specialists pinpoint the problem.
“I am very honoured to have joined this team, and I am excited to be a part of such an important regional program,” says Dr. Enright.
“Patients would not be able to receive the high-quality patient care and quick access they expect and deserve without regional partnerships like this one.”
